Established in 2019, LumIR Lasers is the culmination of a decade-spanning partnership between researchers at Quebec City’s Center for Optics, Photonics and Lasers and the world’s foremost provider of mid-IR optical fibers, Le Verre Fluoré inc. Nested at the heart of the Canadian optical hub, we finally bring the product of our collaborative innovation out of the lab – and into the hands of people.
Established in 1977 in Rennes (France), Le Verre Fluoré has pioneered the development of fluoride glass optical fibers over the last four decades. It proudly offers a variety of infrared solutions at the highest industrial standards, from fluoride glass optical fiber to fully-fledged modules.
